Why ASA, and why it matters for your part
Most print shops quote PLA or PETG because they are easy to run. Both go brittle and fade in sunlight. ASA holds its color and its strength outdoors for years, which is why it is used for automotive trim and exterior housings. It is harder to print well, and that is the whole reason this shop exists.
Signage
Parts that sit on a building face and take full sun all day, every day, without chalking or warping.
Solar and electrical
Consumables that go out by the hundred on every install, priced so they beat waiting on a distributor.
Marine
Salt, sun, and constant load. Parts printed and tested against the same conditions they will see on deck.
Equipment and replacement parts
Discontinued plastic parts for machines still earning their keep. Send the broken one and it can be measured and rebuilt.
Small product runs
Between a prototype and an injection mold there is a gap. Five hundred parts does not justify eight thousand dollars of tooling.
One-off parts
Individual jobs are welcome. Send a print-ready file and it goes on a machine.
How a job runs
Four steps, no portal to log into, no account to create.
Send the part
An STL or STEP file, a drawing, or the broken original in the mail. Any of the three works.
Get a fixed price
Quoted per part with the lead time stated. No surprises added after the fact.
Approve a sample
On runs over fifty, one part ships first so you can check fit before the rest are made.
Run and ship
Machines run in parallel. Repeat orders reference the first job and skip straight to production.
